Guided by the Tata Principles of Sustainability

TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) believes in carrying forward the philosophy and legacy of the Tata group by giving back to the society through its community development initiatives. It has its own aligned vision, mission and policy with a simple view of benefitting the society. The company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department was constituted right from the inception of company with the objective to serve its key stakeholder - the community, and ever since, the company has driven several initiatives that are creating multi-fold impact on the community.

Value Creation

Community is at the core of all corporate social responsibility initiatives and TPCODL is guided by a well-defined Corporate Social Responsibility Policy that aims to seamlessly integrate business values and operations to meet the expectations of its stakeholders.

Since its incorporation, TPCODL has been focused on the holistic development of underprivileged communities. Through its community-centric initiatives, the company has consistently demonstrated social responsibility, which forms an integral part of TPCODL's vision statement.

To create local opportunity, growth and impact in every community especially in women by adding innovation in existing development programs through partnership in our operational districts in Odisha.

CSR Mission

To empower communities especially vulnerable sections in our operational areas by providing/creating avenues of education, skill, knowledge, and employability along with ensuring their well-being through direct and in-direct interventions in partnership with Tata Group, Government & National and International Organizations.

The Four 'E's

Our corporate social responsibility initiatives are based on four broad 'E's and at every step, we are guided by our founder Jamsetji Tata words "In a free enterprise, the community is not just another stakeholder in our business, but it is in fact, the very purpose of its existence" that capture the Tata ethos.
