TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) is a Joint Venture of Tata Power and Government of Odisha with the majority stake being held by Tata Power Company (51%). TPCODL serves a population of 1.36 Crore with Customer Base of 32.96 Lakh and a vast Distribution Area of 29,354 Sq. Km.

TPCODL (TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited) achieved an outstanding milestone in the 12th Annual Integrated Rating and Ranking of Power Distribution Utilities conducted by the Ministry of Power (MOP), Government of India (GOI) for FY 2023. With a score of 91.1 out of 100, TPCODL secured an impressive A+ rating and ranked 9th among all distribution utilities in the country. This achievement is a testament to the company’s exceptional performance, strong financial health, consistent adherence to regulatory compliance, unmatched commitment to customer service and a relentless focus on process excellence.

TPCODL's primary objective is to provide a reliable power supply, enhance customer services and systematically reduce Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses. These goals are being pursued through strategic upgrades to existing distribution infrastructure, the adoption of advanced technologies and the provision of digital services to customers, ensuring both efficiency and convenience.
